Marijuana is a psychoactive drug derived from the cannabis plant. Recreational use of marijuana can produce lightheaded feedings, feelings of relaxation and lower blood pressure. The main active ingredient in marijuana is delta-9-tetrahhdrocannabinol (THC). THC is found in the resin produced by the leaves and buds primarily of the female cannabis plant.
