WHAT IS ICE?

Ice or Meth is a refined, much stronger form of amphetamine which is more commonly known as speed. The main ingredient is ephedrine or pseudo-ephedrine, which are sometimes found in cough mixtures in small amounts. More recently Ice has become one of the most commonly abused illegal drugs, causing problems in many communities.

WHY IS ICE SO ADDICTIVE?

Dopamine is a feel good chemical that is produced by the body at different times. An ice user can produce 1250 units of dopamine, while a cocaine user only produces 400 units. This helps give some idea of the extreme chemical reaction that occurs when using Ice.
